About

I am a legally blind landscape painter from Western Australia. I paint an expressionistic/ impressionistic style of Karijini National Park in the Pilbara Region. My oeuvre foregrounds the raw, powerful beauty of the region and memories of spending two decades growing up in Tom Price. I utilise emotion and sensory senses to weave an intricate personalised vision, a unique language of perseverance and resilience . I incorporate Braille to add a textural layer to my work to promote inclusivity for viewers that are marginalised due to their disability.

Through my landscape paintings, I seek to capture the intersection of nature's beauty and the human experience. By incorporating Braille, I invite viewers to engage with my work on multiple levels, challenging perceptions of disability and fostering inclusivity. My art is a reflection of my journey, exploring themes of resilience, transcendence, and the power of the human spirit.
