A Journey Shaped by Art, Color & Movement

My journey as an artist began in a simple yet meaningful way. I was given a pencil and paper to spend my time drawing, and this early introduction sparked a deep interest in art that continued to grow throughout my life. I spent many weekends drawing with a friend, an experience that played a significant role in shaping my artistic foundation and nurturing my passion for creativity.

Education & Creative Foundations

My education further influenced my artistic path. I majored in art in college, where I studied Textile Design and Fashion Design. These fields cultivated my love for design and color and encouraged me to explore creativity in different forms.

My interest in design eventually inspired me to create a website selling dinnerware that I designed. At the same time, my years of experience working in the garment industry allowed me to develop my skills further and apply my creative abilities in a practical and commercial environment.

Over time, these diverse experiences naturally led me toward the world of abstract painting, where I discovered a new and fulfilling form of artistic expression.
Through abstract art, I found the freedom to explore ideas, colors, movement, and emotions in ways that felt deeply personal. Rather than simply representing what I see, I strive to create work that allows viewers to experience a sense of movement and emotion.

My Artistic Approach

A central part of my artistic voice is the desire to convey intangible yet powerful experiences. I want my work to make viewers feel something—to experience movement, emotion, and the energy within the artwork.

I believe that art is everywhere around me. It influences the way I see, experience, and interact with the world every day. My surroundings, experiences, and continuous exploration all contribute to the way I approach my work.

My advice to aspiring artists is simple: keep painting and keep exploring different techniques.

Persistence and experimentation are essential parts of growth and discovery. Continuing to create, even during uncertain or challenging periods, can open the door to new possibilities and help an artist discover their own visual language.

Growth Through Exploration

My artistic journey has included challenges and moments of uncertainty. However, continually pushing forward and embracing new methods has helped me develop a unique style rooted in my diverse experiences.

Each stage of my journey has contributed something meaningful to the artist I am today. The combination of my background in art, textile and fashion design, commercial experience, and exploration of abstract painting continues to shape my creative identity.

Looking Ahead

As I look toward the future, I aspire to continue evolving as an artist and deepening my contribution to the wider artistic community through my work.

While I have not yet defined all of my future goals, I envision my art contributing by evoking emotional responses and encouraging viewers to engage with movement and color in meaningful ways.

My journey remains one of continuous learning and exploration—a journey shaped by creativity, experimentation, persistence, and a belief in the power of art to connect and inspire.
